Meet Dr. Bruchal

Trina Bruchal, DMD

I understand that every patient is different, which is why each treatment I provide reflects the unique needs of my patients. Practicing orthodontics has been extremely rewarding for me. Every day, I have the chance to build and enjoy friendships with people of all ages and backgrounds while creating beautiful smiles. It is a truly fulfilling experience for me to help my patients feel better about their health and their smiles!

Education

I attended the University of Washington in Seattle, where I earned my BA in Communications. I also earned my BA in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Seattle Pacific University. After university, I moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where I attended the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine and received my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and graduated with honors. Upon graduation, I was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society (Omicron Kappa Upsilon), and received several awards, including an award of merit for outstanding achievement in the pursuit of excellence in Esthetic Dentistry.

Following dental school, I completed a post-graduate program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) to earn an AEGD certificate from the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine and University Hospitals of Cleveland. In addition, I practiced as a general dentist prior to pursuing my post-graduate education in orthodontics.

My certificate in the Specialty of Orthodontics was earned from the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Upon graduation, I received the award for highest honors in clinical excellence, exceptional patient management, and outstanding performance in Orthodontic theory and practice.

Continuing Education

I believe that participating in continuing education is very important and beneficial to my patients. Continuing education allows me to keep up with the constant advancements in orthodontics, while also staying up-to-date with current products and techniques in all areas of dentistry. Continuing education makes it possible for me to offer the most advanced treatments and techniques to meet the needs of each individual patient.

In addition to continuing education, I maintain several professional memberships with the:

  • Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists
  • American Association of Orthodontists
  • Seattle-King County Dental Society
  • Washington State Dental Association
  • American Dental Association
  • American Dental Education Association
  • Omicron Kappa Upsilon, National Dental Honor Society

In the Practice

I love my job! Each day I go to work, I look forward to working with each individual patient to create their ideal smile. Knowing that I am helping my patients feel more confident about the way their teeth look and function  is the most rewarding part of my job.

I love interacting with such a variety of people every day. Each patient is unique, and I am always learning something new! At my practice, we go the extra mile to make our patients feel right at home. Our staff is skilled and knowledgeable, and we strive to provide energetic and gentle care to each patient. Each member of our team has experience in treating patients with the highest level of care.

Family and Community

I am a Puget Sound area native, born and raised in Renton and Federal Way. I currently live in Woodinville and really enjoy the area and the people. My family consists of my fiancé, Chris Kringel, and our cat, Cleo, as well as my parents, my brother, his wife and their children. In my free time I enjoy exercising, hiking, skiing, traveling, making pottery, and spending time with family and friends.

I have always felt that being involved in a community is not only a great way to give back, but also an opportunity to really get to know your neighbors. While in dental school, I volunteered at the Cleveland Free Dental Clinic providing emergency dental care. l was also involved in the community outreach program for children in Cleveland inner city schools and participated in Give Kids A Smile Day each year. Returning back to the Puget Sound area, I am excited to find new ways to give back to this wonderful community.
